Brooklyn has 15 year of experience working with horses. She has over 1000 hours of volunteer experience pertaining to horse health, wellness, training, and care. Brooklyn has experience teaching lessons, and has also taken jumping lessons for over 5 years from certified coaches, as well as, having the opportunity to train in dressage under an olympic dressage rider to build a better foundation when working with horses. Her passion lies in training and rehabilitating horses, hoping to find as many homes as possible for rescue horses. Brooklyn has her standard, and emergency horse and human first aid, is trained in the 4 levels of CPR, and is currently in school for her BScN degree. She aims to provide the best quality, care, and compassion to our horses and their owners; to provide an environment that is judgment free and laid back, where horse and rider can bond, and enjoy one another, and to create a space where each horse and owner are happy, healthy, and safe.
Gracie has been working with horses for over 5 years, and has over 500 volunteer hours working with horses. She had the opportunity to volunteer in Belize at a ranch with over 50 rescued horses for two years, and while there she gained a passion for barrel racing. Gracie rescued her first horse 2 years ago after moving back to Canada.
Gracie currently holds her standard and advanced equine first aid. She loves to spend her free time with her horse, or helping at the barn. She is planning on attending Lakeland College to take Equine Science, and her dream is to rescue and retrain horses who others may have given up on or overlooked.
Wiktoria's passion for horseback riding began at the age of 4, where her love for the sport blossomed. With about 15 years of experience in hunter/jumper disciplines, she has shown locally, demonstrating her dedication to the sport.
Wiktoria has worked with several high-level and top placing coaches to refine her skills, and she continues to do so. She has ridden a wide variety of horses, often helping develop green horses. Wiktoria has also contributed a large sum of volunteer hours at riding facilities and currently holds her equine first aid certification, reflecting her eagerness in furthering her knowledge. Wiktoria is currently working on her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice and Oboe at the U of A. She enjoys interconnecting her musical and equine knowledge by exploring concepts such as rhythm and body awareness. She is also passionate about understanding the unique personalities and needs of each horse and rider she works with, and finds fulfillment in spreading her love for the sport onto others. With a strong commitment to safety, she ensures that all equestrian activities prioritize the well-being of both horse and rider.
Mona started riding and joined Canadian Pony Club at the age of 7 years old. She quickly rose up through the levels, competing across BC up to Third Level Dressage, 1.20 Show Jumping, and schooling up to preliminary level eventing. In August of 2015 Mona became 1 of the 3 candidates across Canada to achieve the ‘A’ Level in Canadian Pony Club. Shortly after she received her Level 1 English Competition Coach license and certification under Equestrian Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
In addition to Mona's certification, her experience includes training client horses from backing to competition ready, and training her own horses up to preliminary level in 3 day eventing. In addition to this she spent time working at K & L Quarter Horses training ranch colts and schooling show horses. In 2017 Mona achieved a diploma in Animal Science with a major in Commercial Beef Production from Lakeland College. Mona moved to Sherwood Park in 2022, and her and her husband currently farm 2800 acres of grain and raise a
commercial flock of sheep.
Rebecca is a proud Newfoundlander and began her journey teaching therapeutic riding at Rainbow Riders in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She became a CanTRA certified therapeutic riding instructor in 2021. Rebecca has nearly 4 years of experience teaching mounted and unmounted therapeutic lessons and has been riding horses for 15 years. She has ridden in the Canadian Pony Club and continues to ride in an Equestrian Canada Rider Level focused program.
In addition to teaching therapeutic lessons on Saturdays, Rebecca works
full-time as a registered social worker, supporting families and children with disabilities. Therapeutic riding is more than a job to Rebecca, it is a passion project and she takes great pride in ensuring the safety and enjoyment
of all program participants.
